A friend from the office requested some gingerbread cookies in June. I was hesitant to bake at first because the first gingerbread men I made some Christmases ago was not so popular with the tasters. But having taken so much time out of the kitchen, I decided to bake again to hone my rusty skills. :)
This recipe turned out to be much better than the previous one I made. (And probably because I followed the instructions carefully this time!) The only regret I had was that I was so pressed for time, I wasn't able to decorate it anymore.
I got the recipe from "Christmas Cookies from the Whimsical Bakeshop" book that I got several years back. ♥♥♥
